Re: Mosaic tile edges
Thanks, It could be that Mark, It's in the middle, and looks like a jigsaw puzzle type thing.. I've attached a bit of the image as I don't think I'm doing a great describing job!

Mosaic tile edges
Hi,
Is there any way to suppress the square tile edges when mosaicking? I thought maybe it was a weighting issue but can't seem to figure it out
I'm just re-manufacturing the old 1992 HI cube
Thanks for your help.

Best way to get specturm of point source
Hello I have a field with several point sources in it and wish to find the spectrum of each. I've imaged up with the desired frequency resolution and done a continuum subtraction. At the moment I've loaded the cube up in CASA viewer and used the ellipse tool for each object to produce a spectrum. Is...

2 IFs , any advantage
Hi just a quick question,
If you observed with the same zom configuration in both IFs, other that redunacy, i.e. picking the better one or portions when blocks go offline, is there any benefit that can be gained from when both IFs were woking fine?

Image ends up as lines?
Hi all, I'm having a bit of a strange problem today and hope that someone can help. I've done the flagging (if i invert then it's ok) but when i apply the calibration to the source I end up with the attached. Any idea what's going on? Not sure if it's some kind of data corruption? Thanks for your he...

Re: pgplot hidpi retina type displays
thanks Jamie, fixed it, capital W for win! It's the new XPS 15 (9530) really excellent machine. Everything (other than the NFC) seems to work fine with linux, although ubuntu 14.04 LTS seems to be the only distro on which you can properly change the dpi to work with the screen. Just needs and SSD no...

pgplot hidpi retina type displays
Hi I've recently got a new laptop, a linux running dell, with a screen resolution of 3200x1800. My problem is that all the miriad pgplot windows (uvspec, pgflag etc) are all super small on the screen. Is there any way to make them larger? I tried altering the default window size using window geometr...

Re: Cleaning diffuse/extended sources
I'll give it a go to see if it makes much difference. It could be that I need to do more flagging to get the noise level down i guess.
