UVAMP

Post by cat001 »

Hi Jamie,

If I have two sources on an image, and I am trying to create a uv amplitude plot for each of them separately.
How do you ensure that uvamp is creating a plot for one of the sources?

Many Thanks,
Catarina

Hi Catarina,

I've never done this, but from the uvamp help file it looks like you'll need to use the "offset" parameter to select each source in turn.

Hi Jamie,

Is there an easy way of finding the "offset" of a source? I know the offset of one of the sources, but not the other.

Many thanks,
Catarina

Hi Catarina,

Use the Miriad task "impos" to convert absolute RA & Dec of your sources to an offset position.
