Hello all,
I seem to be getting a "Fortran runtime error" on my Mac installation of Miriad everytime I ask it to print a "log" file while I'm using mbspect. The measurements seem fine but everytime I try to make a "log" record, I get the following error:
At line 778 of file /nfs/atapplic/miriad/darwin_x86_64/tmp/mbspect.f
Fortran runtime error: End of record
Any thoughts anyone? I'm curious as to what might be causing this error...
Ta,
Ivy

Re: Fortran runtime error (OSX 10.6)
Hi Ivy,
I tried this on my Mac (10.6.7), after installing the latest miriad and gfortran and didn't get a crash.
I do get some strange characters in the log file at the end of the '#Spectral axis' line.
These characters don't appear when I run it on linux, so it looks like there is an architecture dependent buffer overrun or the like.
Cheers,
Mark

Thanks Mark. I suspected as much. Not to worry, I just thought I'd give you all a heads-up about this.
