Hi,
I would like to know the routine used in MIriad to find the difference between the
consecutive data points in a UV dataset. I could see the routine 'uvdiff' used to find the
difference between to two datasets. But, this is not what I am looking for.
Please send me the ideas those who have tried.
Thank you.

Re: Miriad for difference in data set points
Hi Shaheda,
I don't think a routine to do that exists in miriad at the moment. You could almost do what you want by using uvedit to make a copy of the dataset with the timestamps offset by one integration and then using uvdiff. However, uvedit will also apply a phase correction, giving you not quite what you're after. It might be ok for a quick test though.
I could add an optional time offset parameter to uvdiff if you think you'll use it more than once.
Cheers,
Mark
