Introduction to CASA (links to helpful resources)

CASA, which stands for "Common Astronomy Software Applications", is being developed to support data post-processing (calibration, imaging, analysis) for both interferometric and single-dish radio instruments. It is being developed by the National Radio Astronomical Observatory (NRAO), the European Southern Observatory (ESO), the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ), the CSIRO Australia Telescope National Facility (CSIRO/ATNF), and the Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy (ASTRON) under the guidance of NRAO.

An excellent starting place to learn about CASA is the CASAguides wiki: http://casaguides.nrao.edu/
The CASAguides wiki contains many helpful tutorials for reducing data in CASA, including tutorials for:
calibrating, imaging, multi-scale imaging, mosaicking, continuum data, data cubes, simulating data, and more.
