The ATCA Users Guide, or ATUG, is the primary documentation for all things ATCA. It lives on the web at:
http://www.narrabri.atnf.csiro.au/obser ... /atug.html
A printable version can be downloaded from that site.
This forum should be used if you spot an error, don't understand something or think that something should be clearer, or have a suggestion for what should be in the ATUG.
ATCA staff will update this forum when the ATUG is updated, and try to keep a log of changes between the versions.
Our aim is to have a very comprehensive and easy-to-use Users Guide, and your help will be greatly appreciated.

Re: The ATCA Users Guide
Section 2.1.2 of the Users Guide mentions a cycle ("Frequencies within any particular band can be changed every cycle if so desired, however there is an overhead of two cycles as the request for LO frequency changes propagates through the system.") but does not explain what this cycle is or how long it lasts. It should certainly specify that this is an "integration cycle", and I recommend that text from Section 1.2.2. be copied into this section: "each integration cycle (typically ten seconds)"
