Hi Jamie,
When I use blflag with axis=channel, amp and options=nofqav, selgen. The file created by selgen is blank. However, when I use axis=time, amp and options=nobase, selgen; the file has the flagged information.
Does selgen work with nofqav?
thanks,
Catarina

Re: Blflag selgen option
Hi Catarina,
the blflag selgen option doesn't work for channel flagging because, you can't specify channel flagging using the select keyword.
All the select commands work on the whole spectrum.
I couldn't think of an easy way to get around this, so I just left it out hoping nobody would notice.. but of course someone did.
Blflag would have to write a line and a select command for each flagged point to capture all the channel flagging, this would quickly produce a very large file. To reapply the flags you'd have to run uvflag once for each point. So I don't think it is feasible. We would need to create a new way to list flags and apply flags from a file, specifying time, baseline and channel.
Cheers,
Mark
