Re: atlod options=notsys and calibration
Jamie, Ok, thanks for that. Running qvack on my mosaic file (created using uvsplit options=mosaic), with mode=moasic and interval=0.17 (ten second integration), no records or correlations are returned as flagged. Does this sound good to you, or user error? qvack vis=mos.uv interval=0.17 mode=mosaic ...

Re: atlod options=notsys and calibration
Hi Jamie, I got around to looking at this again. If I were to carry out the reduction described in my initial post, I get the following plot for time vs amplitude of my phase reference calibrator. You can see that the first two scans are off when I include options=nocal. Plotting the time vs systemp...

Re: atlod options=notsys and calibration
Hi Jamie, I am pretty sure I have. Going through the atlod history of the run I have ATLOD: Processing file 2017-11-23_0624.C3171 ATLOD: 06:23:29 CAOBS> set file c3171_obs_goodweather ATLOD: 06:23:42 CAOBS> start 1/12 ATLOD: 06:24:16 CAOBS> set c3171_cal ATLOD: 06:24:22 CAOBS> stop ATLOD: 06:24:27 C...

atlod options=notsys and calibration
I am having a bit of trouble calibrating some C/X band data, and I was hoping for a bit of advice. My data has the two IFs set at central frequencies of 7.7 and 9.5GHz, giving roughly 50MHz of overlap (after flagging out edge channels). At these frequencies 1934-638 is strong enough to perform a ban...

And the image I referenced that I could not attach to the previous post.

Re: 7mm Bandpass Spectrum - IFs not aligning
Hi Jamie, Although that method is pretty good, it can only calibrate for certain effects. If, for example, you don't do opacity correction during the atlod stage, I'm not sure this calibration method will compensate. So in atlod I do use the opcorr option with nopcorr set to 16. Now, even if tell at...

7mm Bandpass Spectrum - IFs not aligning
I am reducing some recent data at 33 and 35GHz I observed in a H168 array. As 1934-638 is not bright enough at these frequencies, I used a different source to perform the bandpass calibration step with. On this particular day this source was 0420-014. As 0420-014 does not have a spectral model built...

Accurate bandpasss/flux calibration at 7mm
Hi all, I have (yet another!!) calibration recipe question. You may be sick of them just as much as I am! Sorry for the wall of text. If I have been unclear please let me know and I will attempt to rephrase. The context is much the same as my earlier queries. I have a wide distribution of program so...

Re: 15mm calibration question
Thanks for replying so quickly! It sounds like you've nailed the process exactly how I would have done it. Once you've done the uvfmeas and recalibration stage, 0537-441 becomes a flux density calibrator just like 1934-638 is. Great! Just for clarity, in the case of 1934 as my phase calibrator I wou...
