Hi guys,
I'm getting an error message out of INVERT that I was hoping you could shed some light on. I run INVERT and I get:
.
.
Calculating the weights ...
Applying weights and geometry corrections ...
Theoretical rms noise: 2.239E-03
Forming the beam ...
### Warning: Error opening /temp1.beam, in XYOPEN
### Fatal Error: Too many links
Are you able to tell me what 'Too many links' means, and why it might occur?
Cheers,
Craig.

Re: INVERT error message
Hi Craig,
"Too many links" doesn't seem to be a Miriad error message (can't find it with grep), but it is a Linux error:

Do you have a lot of files in the directory you're working in?
