Hi
I'm wondering if there is any update on the circular polarization and the linear polarization leakage into circular at 16cm with CABB. I've been using nfbin=16 in my calibration. are gpdof or gpcomb still useful for CABB?
Are they some methods to get high-precision circular polarization observations?
Cheers,
Sara

Re: Circular polarization calibration and leakages
Hi Sarah,
No at the moment we don't have an update on 16cm polarization characteristics. Jamie has collected a large amount of data on the beam response at all 16cm frequencies and polarizations, but detailed analysis is taking time - offers of help may be accepted..
The tasks gpdof and gpcomb have not been changed since 2007, they will not work with binned solutions.
Cheers,
Mark
