Hi all,
I'm having a bit of a strange problem today and hope that someone can help.
I've done the flagging (if i invert then it's ok) but when i apply the calibration to the source I end up with the attached. Any idea what's going on?
Not sure if it's some kind of data corruption?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Image ends up as lines?
Hi,
it looks like your image is dominated by visibilities at a single time - this could be because of a very large gain factor being applied to corrupted data or something like that.
Have a look at the gain solutions with gpplt and see if there are any extreme outliers. There is possibly also some hint in the log of the calibration solution, e.g., if it takes many iterations to converge for a particular time, that data is suspect. There is even a task 'uvsector' you can feed a selection of one of the lines to flag out the corresponding hour angle in the data.
Cheers,
Mark
